KAORI - COFFEEMAKER

Currently I am uploading some details and pictures to my third semester project called 'KAORI'. At first I wasn't sure about our topic we had to work on in the third semester. Our professor wanted us to get into the distilling process - not really a typical task...

Well after thinking about it for a while, I decided a coffeemaker is the way to go. However I didn't want to use electricity at all. I know it's not really distilling but the principal I used for my coffeemaker got a lot of similarities.

During my research for KAORI I stumbled over a really awesome principal for operating my coffeemaker - The vacuum coffee maker, which allows me to brew coffee using two chambers where vapor pressure and vacuum produce coffee. I really love this technique! Above is a small illustration I made for your understanding.
